Cervinia is one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Aosta Valley. Located in a beautiful valley at the foot of the Matterhorn (4478m), it is easily accessible thanks to its strategic position about 100 km from Turin and 150 km from Milan.
Thanks to its altitude (2050 m) in Cervinia it is possible to ski practically all year round, from October to May and from July to September, on an area of 350 km of slopes that extend up to Valtournenche (1600 m) and, beyond the border, to Zermatt (1500 m).
Cervinia offers endless possibilities: all tastes and levels can be catered for. In addition to skiing, snowboarding, with dedicated slopes, ice skating, cross-country skiing and for those who are always looking for new emotions and adrenaline, Heliski and ski touring. In summer, in addition to the typical activities, such as hiking, hiking, mountain biking, ebike trails and climbing, for the most demanding tourist Cervinia offers the 18-hole golf course, the highest in Italy.
From 2022, finally, tourists can travel for the first time from Breuil-Cervinia (ITA) to Zermatt (CH) or vice versa without skiing and especially without car!
The ALPINE X (Alpine Crossing) project, which connects the two sides of the Matterhorn with a three-way cable car between Testa Grigia and Matterhorn glacier paradise, will be completed. The connection will make the Matterhorn-Matterhorn Ski Paradise an extraordinary alpine destination in all seasons and will allow visitors to make, in an hour and a half, the highest crossing of the Alps by cable car, without ever losing sight of the Matterhorn. A panoramic route without equal!
